    Downtowner Deli is my favorite downtown restaurant. Everything I have eaten there has been delicious.  Great value!! Keep up the great work.

    The first thing that comes to mind are the cookies!  Absolutely delicious ! My favorite is the sugar cookie with frosting.  They have cake too!

    I also enjoyed the buffalo chicken sandwich($8.49).  I thought I was going to be good and not eat the bun but it had butter and Parmesan on top so could not resist. The sandwich came with chips.  

    The staff was very nice an knowledgeable about the food!  The definitely suggested the desserts.

    I just confirmed that this location is related to The Downtowner in Madison, Indiana.  I went to Hanover College (which is just outside Madison), so The Downtowner was a regular lunch spot for me!!

    So, I can't be more excited that they opened a deli one block away from where I work!! At this location, I've done the Trio (where you can choose 1/2 a sandwich and 2 sides (or a cup of soup)) and the Duo (1/2 sandwich and a side).  Both the Trio and Duo also come with a pickle spear and a bag of Lays chips.

    Both times I went with 1/2 the Ruben, which come with sauerkraut, lettuce, tomato, and red onion on buttered/parmesan covered bread.  AMAZING and definitely filling for half a sandwich.  

    I do love their garden salad.  Simply dressed with tomatoes, cheese, and croutons.  I've also had their ranch pasta salad and their potato salad.  Both really great, however, mine were a little over-dressed for my taste.  In speaking with a friend who went and got the same thing, they said it was perfectly dressed.

    Overall, a really great (quick) shop to grab lunch downtown.  Would definitely recommend - especially those who are fans of The Downtowner in Madison.

    4 words: Turkey Pesto Focaccia Sandwich

    That is what I got today when I popped in for lunch and WOW was it tasty! Get it with LTO and you will be in for a surprise. Super tasty and the perfect size for a quick workday lunch. I'll have to try the German Chocolate Cake next time I go in there it looked so good!

    When you're going to be THAT rude to a customer, by all means, stay home!
    I just can't believe how rude she was. Threw me my tray of food, didn't even look at me, didn't say thank you or have a nice day. Didn't ask me, is that all, anything else? Nothing. Zero. Nada, just gave me this mean stare. Stared at me while I ate my food, or picked at my food. There was too much turkey in the sandwich. I know, what a spoiled brat I am. All I know is this, when you can't even put your whole mouth around the sandwich, it's too big. Bad service, and if you treat the customers that way the first time they come to your store, I don't think they'll be coming back.
